The New York State license plate reads “50 COUPE”, and a Mayflower hood ornament are just two of the unique features on Andy Demetrious’ 1950 Plymouth Business Coupe. The tan interior has an AM/FM/CD mounted under the dash, and also has the factory AM radio. Chrome spotlights, smoothie wheels, wide whitewall tires, side pipes, fender skirts and a frenched power antenna accent the bright orange metallic paint. A carhop tray has a few items off the menu, which listed hamburgers for 25¢, cheeseburgers for 35¢, a hot dog for 20¢, french fries or onion rings for 15¢, and a soda pop for 10¢. I’ll bet the crybaby leaning on the front bumper wished the current gas prices matched the old menu prices.
