1973 was a very special year for Cadillac, as the Eldorado was the Official Pace Car for the 57th running of the Indianapolis 500. Pictured here is one of a limited edition of pace car replicas, owned by Rocky and Eleanor Meier. The fully loaded red leather interior features Climate Control A/C, and the radio has been upgraded to AM/FM/Cassette player. The decal under the hood shows the engine as a “501”, which is a GM 500 cubic inch engine teamed up with an automatic transmission and front wheel drive. The big white Cadillac convertible is all original, and has traveled less than 25,000 miles.
