This blue and white car had many people scratching their heads, wondering what it was until they read the info on the windshield. It is a 1937 Lanchester Roadrider 14, of which about 2,000 were produced, and is powered by a 1527cc six cylinder overhead valve water cooled engine. It was displayed by Jacksonville resident Lee Lanchester (yep, I’m guessing a relative of the original manufacturer). Frederick Lanchester was among the pioneers of British cars, designing a car (not a horseless carriage) in 1895, leading to production cars in 1900. Various Lanchester models were produced through 1955.
