Bright light green flames dance along the sides of this 1947 Ford owned by Mary Beth and Jack Pettyjohn from Longwood, Florida. The car has many modifications, and many of the parts used are from 60’s GM cars, such as the ‘69 Pontiac Grand Prix front end, the console and shifter for the auto trans, a GM tilt wheel and the ‘69 Chevelle chassis. The green exterior has a black convertible top, American Racing wheels, and 1959 Cadillac taillights. An electronic ignition, plus dual 4-barrel carburetors add to the performance of the 427 cubic inch V-8 engine.
