The first Automotive Expo at the Manheims Florida Auto Auction of Orlando was held on January 18th, and had a very good turnout for a first time event, especially considering the brisk weather. Luckily the sun was shining brightly, which added a little warmth, and really made the paint gleam and the chrome glisten. By the end of registration there were 125 cars in the cars show and car corral. Approximately 2,000 people came through the gates to attend, and seemed to be having a lot of fun.
The next Automotive Expo was held on March 1st, there will be one on April 12th which will include an auction, and the May 10th Expo will also include an auction of classic and special interest cars. The Florida Auto Auction is located at Highway 50 (West Colonial Dr.) and the Turnpike, and has 25+ acres of pavement for the car corral, show cars and vendors.
