Best Of Show went to this 1953 Ford C-500 Transporter, which is owned by Wayne Trent of Hudson, Florida. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is unbelievable. Powered by an 8.3 liter Cummins inline 6-cylinder diesel engine displacing 506ci, it has 325hp and 925 ft. lbs. of torque! Controlling that grunt is an Allison 6-speed transmission (with 5th & 6th gear being overdrive - at 2,000 RPM the truck is going 90 mph), and the rear differential houses 3.31:1 gears packed into a Dana 80 locker. It is painted ‘59 Ford Wedgewood Blue, and took Wayne 3 years to build. The fuel tank holds 115 gallons, which in today’s economy is close to $500 per fill up!
