Chateau Slate is the name of the light blue paint color on Scott and Tammy’s 1966 Chevy Impala SS convertible from Palm Harbor, Florida. The high quality paint is accented by a set of chrome wheels and a black convertible top, and options include air conditioning, power windows, power trunk release and a factory tach. It also sports a wood grain steering wheel, and a factory console with the rare option of console mounted stereo controls and gauges. In 1966 about 3,200 of the 427 Impalas were produced with the 390hp option.
