This Lincoln Continental convertible had recently received a wild “flaming comet” graphics treatment, due to the fact owners Jerry and Connie Paul were preparing to embark on the Fireball Run Transcontinental Rally with the car. The Fireball Run started in Orlando on September 29th, and on the way to the destination in Los Angeles 9 days later teams drove their cars through New Orleans, Houston, Oklahoma City, and Las Vegas - just to name a few cities. The event was held as an awareness campaign for The Child Rescue Network, with the goal of recovering America’s missing children. Each team was assigned a different missing child, and their mission was to distribute as many fliers as possible and raise public awareness in an effort to recover the child.
