Have to love night time drag racing!! Here is “The Snake” with the header flames wing high at night at Irvine, California’s Orange County International Raceway in the early 1970’s. Note the crew man with the jug to the left in the photo. In that day and age racers often did “dry hops” through VHT prior to a run after they had done the water burnout.
