One of the most notable rides was Charles Berry’s airplane car from Palm Bay. A true masterpiece that’s been handed down from his grandfather. Based on a ‘36 Ford frame and powered by a 1939 flathead, this piece of rolling art is amazing. The body is made completely out of aluminum....and polished to a mirror finish. Talk about a true 50’s custom with history! I had overheard someone mentioning that it was on the cover of Popular Mechanics in the 50’s. Very cool and what an addition to the variety of topless cars that showed up!
