New for this year, the NSRA Southeast Nationals in Tampa on October 12-14 allowed vehicles 30 years or older to participate.....meaning 1977 and older were eligible for 2007. This was a departure from the 1948 and older only rule which has been in place since the event’s inception - and lots of cool cars and trucks that couldn’t previously participate were on hand, including this 1955 Chevy Bel Air. This beauty is red with a set of Boyd Coddington rims and a cream vinyl interior, and belongs to Rex Killebrew out of St. Pete. Everyone seemed to like the rolling year cut-off change, and it also meant there were about 400 more vehicles registered compared to the average over recent years.
