The Titusville Corvette Club presented a Benefit Open Car Show on June 7th, 2008, which took place on the grounds of the Eckler’s Corvette & Classic Chevy Parts Store. There were 126 auto enthusiasts attending the show to support the efforts of the Corvette Club in raising money for Spina Bifida. To further raise money, a 50/50 drawing, silent auction, raffle and food concessions were featured. Eckler’s gave a donation to help the fund raising efforts of the benefit, and also offered a 10% discount for purchases made in the store by the event participants.

The Corvettes that entered the show were treated to a dual judging format, with concourse NCCC and/or professional judging provided by Premium Productions of Pinellas Park, with awards in each venue. Dudley’s Trophy Service worked up the majestic loving cup awards. Since this was an open show, the show cars were cataloged in five year group classes with over 111 Gold Cups going to the top pointing vehicles.
