This unique 1974 Matador has been treated to lots of modern updates by owner Ted Marshall of Margate, Florida. The ground effects, wing and hood are fiberglass units made by Ted, and the ground hugging stance is thanks to Air Ride suspension. The exterior is bright yellow with dark blue racing stripes, and the interior is down up in two-tone gray tweed. Under the hood is a 401 engine mated to 727 Torque Flite automatic with a 2,800 stall converter, and .315 gears in the rear end. Ted first bought the car about 11-1/2 years ago, the actual project took about 4-5 years, and it was completed just a week prior to this show. It is street driven, and Ted calls it the Matador X-Press.
