There is a great story involving Jerry Lavalette and his red ‘32 Ford Coupe. Jerry was at an autograph signing for Paul LaMat (John Milnor of American Graffiti fame), and when it became Jerry’s turn he asked Paul to sign his car. Paul said sure, and when Jerry pulled it up to be autographed Paul stopped the signing to go for a ride in the car. Jerry was smart enough to take a picture of Paul LaMat signing the dash of his car, so no one could doubt him. Jerry’s full Corvette powered car won Best Interior at this show.
