Like all 1987 Buick Grand Nationals, this one is painted in a sinister black. It also has magenta pinstriping, Centerline wheels, and a set of Nitto drag radials. Greg Racioppo of Homosassa, Florida is the owner, and the stock 3.8 liter engine has gone through an extensive reworking. It is now bored .30 over with ported and polished heads, PTE 51 Turbo, 3.5” downpipe, adjustable waste gate and MSD #50 injectors aided by alcohol injection. This monster is cooled by an XL intercooler and 3” custom aluminum radiator. The interior is standard GN black and gray cloth, with a custom gauge console. Greg tools around town with a 2,800 stall converter in a modified 200R4 transmission, turning a Richmond geared 3.73:1 rear end. Aural gratification is provided by a 2.5” Hooker stainless exhaust system.
