“O YELA” is on the Florida license plate of George Obern’s 1951 Chevy Bel Air hardtop. Under the hood is a 305 Chevy V-8, a 350 Turbo automatic, and it has power steering and brakes. The gray cloth interior has a tilt wheel, A/C, power locks and VDO gauges. Frenched headlights and taillights, wide whitewall tires, spotlights, ‘51 Mercury fender skirts, Smitty dual exhausts and a “50’s FOREVER” graphic on the trunklid keeps us in the ‘50’s Forever.
