Hello, and thank you for visiting the info site for Beach Blast 19, which is hosted by Mike Kelly's Cruise News magazine, and sponsored by All-Midwest Sales and Advance Auto Parts. This year's show will take place on May 17-19, 2013.
New for 2011 was the expansion to 280 spots, up from the 200 it had always been. However, with the event selling out for years in less than a month, act quickly to get your pre-registration in before we fill up...as last year it still only a few months to fill up, event with the expansion!
The show is open to all makes, models & years. Each year we give the event extensive magazine coverage, and always find several vehicles which wind up being future cover cars and center spreads.
The Beach Blast will once again be held in the same location that it has its inception....but due to an ownership change a few years ago it is now called the International Palms Resort & Conference Center (formerly the Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach Resort).
The International Palms Resort & Conference Center, located on 1300 N. Atlantic Ave. (A1A) just 2 miles south of Ron Jon Surf Shop, features a beautiful winding brick promenade with lush tropical landscaping that makes its way from the entrance of the hotel back to the Ocean Deck located directly on world-famous Cocoa Beach. We park as many cars as possible in the promenade, based on a first come - first served basis. The rest of the vehicles are parked in the joining lot up front (where the promenade originates along A1A), plus in an area that flows from the end of the promenade. New for 2002 was the addition of event T-Shirts, and we will once again have event T-Shirts this year. Every registration will include one FREE event T-Shirt. You can also order additional event T-Shirts at the time of pre-registration for only $13. However, there will be very limited numbers of additional shirts for sale the day of the show, so plan ahead and order extra shirts with your pre-registration for the wife, kids, friends, etc.
The fun will kick off on Friday and continue through Sunday, with informal "cruise-ins" for registered participants on Friday and Saturday evenings. That will include DJ music by Butch and Jennifer Johnston of WJBJ Cruisin' With The Classics, dancing, and just plain having fun with everyone in attendance. Registration packets and event T-shirts will be given out Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
