With the expansion form 200 vehicles to 280 this year, we were prepared to utilize a new area to park cars, and even had speakers set up so everyone could hear the DJ nicely. However, even though we dodged the heavy rains on Saturday evening, much of central Florida got slammed, and the forecast called for the possibility of rain on Sunday. Though it never happened in Cocoa Beach, it did keep some participants from showing up. We’d like to thank Don Raker with his teal 1966 Rambler convertible, plus Mat and Margaret Mattingly with their red 1967 Camaro, for being good sports and enjoying the new “horseshoe” area we had roped off for expansion. Next year we’ll have this area filled with vehicles.
