This beautiful 1955 Chevy Nomad was one of the many beautiful cars at the event, and went home with the Leisure Lanes Choice. The black paint was like a mirror and seemed 10 feet deep, while the beige leather interior was borrowed from a late 80’s Ford wagon and has a Dakota dash, plus power windows, seats and door locks. Under the hood you’ll find a 502 big block Chevy with extensive internal modifications, backed by a 700R4 automatic and narrowed 9-inch Ford posi rear end with Morrison ladder bars. It belongs to Bob Birchmeier of New Port Richey, and other items include tubular A-Arms, 2-inch drop spindles, rack and pinion steering, and Budnik wheels wrapped in BFG rubber. Very sweet!
